Warning...He Came Back

That dad.  That dad at the park that stared me down.  He was at the park again today.  His boys were with him.  He sat on his bench the whole time.  He was talking on his cell phone the entire time.  And I have to honestly say that his kids were so well behaved.  I almost didn't notice them.  In fact, I only noticed them because their dad was sitting on his bench. 

In my mind I have a whole story about what happened that night after the park, you know, when he stared me down.  I'd like to think that he went home and his loving, compassionate, good parenting wife was anxiously waiting for their arrival home from the park.  I'm sure he said something about a mother at the park who got after their precious boys...twice.  She then asked him why in heavens name would someone get after their children.  He then said something about bark throwing and water spitting.  She then dropped her casserole dished dinner on the floor in shock.  She couldn't believe her boys would act like that...in public.  She says something about how she was happy she wasn't there because she'd be embarrassed if anyone knew she was their mother.  She then had a long talk with the boys and dad about appropriate behavior at a public park, scattered with small children and over protective moms.  They then allowed the boys to come back to the park today to try out their new behavior.  I would like to report to their mom that her little talk worked.  Good job boys on the common courtesy!
