Order in the Art

Do I need to be worried?

This is Josh's art work from preschool.  They used paint to stamp leaves and acorns on their paper.  His teacher pointed out the other children's art that had leaves all over the place.  Josh made straight lines.

Luckily one of his teachers told me today how much she loves him, especially because he's so Type A.  Their first glimpse of this was when they had to clean all the fuzzies off his carpet square before he would sit down on it.  He doesn't enjoy coloring.  He will rarely do it.  But his fine motor skills are amazing.  He can draw straight lines or trace accurately on top of a line.  Go figure.

Miss Jenn said she loves him because he's like a miniature adult.  He is so verbal.  He talks their ears off about everything.  He really is a funny little guy.  I'm so happy she gets him and enjoys him.  He's so smart and curious, yet sometimes I worry that his energy detracts people from enjoying him too.  I love my little Josh!  We celebrate his birthday in just a few days!

I love Josh's picture. It's perfect. I don't know where he gets his perfection tendencies from,do you? I think it's only right he had them clean the fuzzies off. He's the best.

That is hilarious! Those leaves and acorns looked pretty straight too. That's hard to do. Who wants them scattered all over the place?!
