Okay, Okay I'll Do It

To my sweet, beautiful, funny sister Becky...I'll answer your tag.  Here it goes:

The Closet:
This is rather daring.  I should have snapped a picture of Scott's side.  I spent a day last week going through his closet and pulling out a bag full of clothes to donate.  I bought all new hangers for him and organized it that even the husband on Sleeping with the Enemy would be impressed.  We'll get to my side later.  And by the way, that Nordstrom bag does not belong to me.  Although I did help Scott pick out the items that are in there, I'm not taking responsibility for it being on the floor and not put away.
Self Portrait:
Oh, I surprised myself by taking a picture of myself.  Or could it be that I'm embarrassed that I just ate that slice of Godiva chocolate brownie that I ordered for dessert last night at Cheesecake Factory.  No, it's probably that I'm shocked I saved one of the two slices to share with Scott.  Come on ladies, Godiva and chocolate are probably my two most favorite words next to each other.  But yes, this is me in my Sunday night best: t-shirt and sweats.

Favorite Room:
It would have to be the playroom.  We spend most of our time in here.  A friend and I were once laughing remembering the time when you had one child and all the toys you owned fit nicely in one little basket.  What happened!  Now they have their own room.

The Kitchen Sink:
The only thing that bugs me about this sink is that picture on the left.  It's a special picture with important meaning to me.  I love displaying pictures throughout my house.  Even my bathrooms have framed snapshots in them.  I have a terrible habit because I don't like to replace newer pictures with older ones.  So that means I have to buy more frames and find more unique places to display them.  This little one on the left always ends up in the sink every time I tear a paper towel off.  I've got to figure something out.

The Fridge:
Can man live on water and diet coke alone...in this house they can!  Don't stress out health nuts.  This is the fridge in the garage.  I display this only because it gets open more often during the day than that other one that keeps real food in it.  The only thing that makes this fridge better is when you can ask little ones to go and fetch you a cold beverage and they return with it.  Life can't get much better.  Now where's my remote!

The Laundry Room:
No explanation here.  I hate laundry!  It's a chore that never gets checked off the list.  Even when you think you've washed every stitch of clothing in the house and you feel good putting empty baskets in the closet, you forget you're wearing laundry and at the end of the day the baskets won't be empty anymore.  I love to check things off my list and it frustrates me that this love of my life will never get crossed off the list.

The Bathroom:
Not only did I snap a picture of this bathroom because it was the closest one to the computer, but also because it's the most frequently used one.  It has a great location between the kitchen and playroom and is the only one downstairs.  Don't worry, I checked to make sure Josh flushed before I snapped.  We're still working on that lovely habit.  I don't even know why the kids have their own bathroom upstairs.  It's mainly a room to keep their toothbrushes.  I don't remember the last time they used the bath/shower.  The bathroom in our bedroom is more like a family bathroom.  I don't think you need a kids bathroom until they're teenagers and they finally want privacy.  Although the extra toilet is nice to send you know who to when you know what needs to happen.

Children:
The kiddos are nestled all snug in their beds and I'm not risking that for an "at the moment shot", so this is the last picture I have of them on my camera.  These are my babies hanging out in the backyard on Friday.  We decided to give Brooke her first wagon ride.  I think she's a fan.

Favorite Shoes:
I'm a flip-flop girl.  I love them.  If memory serves me correctly this pair of flip flops is finishing up it's third summer.  I keep buying new brown ones, but I always go back to these.  I'm going to have to donate to break away from them.

Dream Vacation:
Scott and I have talked about Tahiti and staying in these little Bungalows in Bora Bora.  I think it looks so relaxing and fun (as long as a tsunami doesn't strike while we're relaxing).  I have to imagine that there's some good shopping there too.  If you know me, you know I enjoy shopping.  A dream vacation would also include dream money to spend.
I won't guilt or shame anybody else into doing this, only my sister Deanne who hasn't yet done it even though Becky asked her to.  That's okay.  I guess I'll remain the favorite sister.

It was actually quite fun to do.  Have at it if you dare...  Now I need to go and erase these pictures before I forget and order prints of these babies.  There's no need for these in the photo albums.
