I love to celebrate events. I love to take advantage of any excuse I can and at times stretch out the celebrations. With our anniversary falling on a Thursday, we celebrated with the family that day. Scott came home early from work and brought me flowers. Ahhh! He was even good and had it be like my wedding bouquet. I love all spring flowers and all the colors. These flowers are beautiful!
We took the kids to Red Robin for dinner and then to a huge new park for them to play. It just so happened that my nephew Brian was playing a baseball game while we were there, so we were able to cheer for him for a little bit while the kids played on the playground. It was really nice to spend our anniversary with our children.
On Friday, we got our most favorite babysitter, Michelle (my niece), to come hang with the kids while we went out. Scott made a dinner reservation for us at the restaurant CRUSH 29. The food is to die for! Although it's a Napa restaurant and known for their forbidden fruit drinks, they also keep our own forbidden drink on tap and serve plenty of Diet Coke to keep us happy! We had some time before dinner so Scott told me to plan what I wanted to do. Are you ready...it was very metro of Scott to oblige but I think he enjoyed it just as much as I did...and he got his feet rubbed! (Don't worry...no polish was applied).
I love my husband! He's so much fun to be with. We have such a great time together.
