Tag...You're It

I think these are random facts that most people don't know about me. If you do, just enjoy the cartoon:

I love bare feet! Even in the middle of winter, I prefer bare feet around my house. My toes might end up like ice by the end of the day, but it comes in handy to slide my cold toes under Scott's warm body. That's much more fun than a pair of socks. Besides, my toes get all claustrophobic in a pair of socks.

Most of you know I taught elementary school for 8 years (4 as a 2nd grade teacher in Utah and 4 as a Reading Specialist in California). I was awarded Teacher of the Year at both schools I taught at. (I miss it, but love being home with my babies).

I attended 4 schools in 4 years: Lakeridge Junior High, Orem UT (8th grade); Oslo American School, Norway (9th grade); British International School, Norway (10th grade); Mountain View High School, Orem UT (11th grade).

I have never touched a lawn mower. I have no idea how to even use one, nor do I have a desire to try. With five sisters, that was considered a boys job. It may sound sexist and I don't care. There are definate boy jobs and girl jobs. By the way Scott, the toilets need to be cleaned...J/K!

My parents were very good about letting us try everything growing up. We played all different sports, singing groups, dance groups, music lessons AND my parents even let me take baton twirling lessons. Yes, I was a Twirlette! We even wore these great all sequined purple outfits for competitions and parades.

I have always had this hidden desire to go to beauty school and learn to cut hair. After all the money my mom spends at her home-away-from-home salon, she thinks I should have done that too. Someday I'll fulfill that!

I love to spend time with my family. When we go home to visit, we spend most of our time sitting around talking. I have to talk to at least one family member a day. I love them all!
