Kindergarten Homework

For Josh's homework, we are to choose one book and read it each night for the week.

Each night has different activities to do with the story.

Thursday night's activity is to draw and write about the story.

Josh's pictures are always classic.

Last night's picture is for "Duck On A Bike".

Duck is riding on a bike. He is going to pass Dog. Josh has drawn a gray arrow to show which direction the bike is moving. He has also added a basket to the bike. Inside the basket is pizza. Duck is delivering pizza. But the pizza is flying out of the basket. The green arrow is showing the direction that the pizza is going.

Josh has taken liberties with this story. Although Duck did ride by Dog in the story, there was no mention of pizza. Josh added that detail.

Just like last weeks story: "The Pout-Pout Fish".

The whole story is about life under the sea. Josh drew a fisherman fishing for the Pout-Pout Fish. There was no mention of life above the sea in the story. His teacher sent it back home for us to keep (which she usually holds on to) because she thought it was so funny.
