Christmas in June

The Disney train rolled into Sacramento last weekend. We decided to take the kids down to Old Sac and check out the making of the next Christmas movie. It was really neat to see all that goes into the animation. We even got to see a 10 minutes clip in 3D. At the end of the train experience, you were able to have pictures taken of you and then morphed into one of the characters.

The train.

Just before we got on the train.
After a 40 minute wait in the heat.

In this room they were showing the body suits
that the actors wear
and the computers use the sensors to animate the movie.
Look closely, Brookie was very into it.

Here we were morphing our faces.
And this is also the place that while my hands were busy holding Megan up to snap her picture, Brooklyn grabbed a hold of my skirt and took it all the way down to the floor. Scott tried to assure me that you "couldn't see a thing". However, he wasn't aware of the tweenage girls that kept looking over at me laughing. That should keep them from getting pregnant too early.

This is Brookie's face.
You can tell because Tiny Tim is sucking on a finger.

And this is Scott as one of the scary ghosts that visits Scrooge.

Happy Holidays!
