It's official...Scott has out done himself.
My anniversary present from Scott was a get away to San Francisco. His parents came over to stay with the kids (a BIG Thank You to them - two fantastic grandparents!).
We checked in to The Westin and we were given an upgrade to a "Preferred Guest" suite on the 35th floor. I guess that's the bright side to a divorced/live together world. The girl who checked us in kept talking about what an achievement it was to be married for 10 years. "That's very rare these days." And so she rewarded us with an upgrade.
We got dressed up and headed to dinner. Scott made reservations at the Carnelian Room (on the top floor of the Bank of America building - floor 52). While making the reservation, he mentioned the anniversary. When they seated us, they put us at the nicest table in the restaurant - overlooking the bay. It was a perfect day for that too, which means no fog blocking the view. The chef sent out appetizers and also dessert to honor the occasion.
After dinner we went to the Orpheum Theatre to see Wicked. Our seats were unbelievable. We were on the 6th row in the center. We were invited into the VIP room for complimentary drinks. Bottled water never tasted so good. And to add my opinion to the rest of the world, the play was absolutely amazing!
After breakfast in bed, we did a little shopping around the city before heading home.
Scottie, thank you so much for a perfect get away. It was a needed little break and I loved every spoiled minute of it! Oh, and every minute of the spoiled ten years have been pretty great too!

What a great anniversary present. Debbie always says, you're the best Scott. I do believe you did outdo yourself. Sounds like a perfect weekend. We love you guys. See you in May. Love, Mom
Ooh, I'm so jealous. In a couple of years, I'm giving Nick your number. In the meantime, I'll just have him read this post to get the ideas started. BTW - I've stayed at that Westin. It's nice. I love San Fran.
Wow! Good job Scooter.
