So you pick your battles...
Now that Josh is wearing big boy underwear, he's enjoying the freedom of getting himself dressed. Somedays we get a fashion show of several outfits, somedays we get no outfits and the liberty of only underwear, and then we have backwards day. It all started with his underwear. If you wear them the right way, well then you can't see Thomas. He's hiding on your backside. But if you wear them backwards, you can look down at Thomas all day long. That was driving me nuts, but I decided that when we go out of the home, they're hiding under shorts. Now he is starting to wear his shorts backwards. And being a son of an attorney, he has given me a logical argument why this is the preferred way to wear one's shorts. If they're on backwards, you can put cars in the big pockets. So I've decided to let him win this little battle...as long as we are at home. When we leave the house, we have to change them. However he has snuck out on me a few times without remembering to change them around.

I'm with Joshie. Cars in the big pockets are very functional. I just can't believe that he can make rational arguments at 3. He's so cute!
That is too funny...I love his logic! I think Josh and Sam would be friends if they lived a little closer and maybe were a a little closer in age. I can see Sam hitting me with the same logic some day. He's too cute!
