Three's Company?

After a long HOT summer, Brooklyn finally arrived. The labor was more of dealing with the heat throughout the summer. The delivery itself was very easy. Two hours after being checked in and labor induced (bless the person who invented epidurals) I was ready to push the baby out. Unfortunately, my doctor had just started a scheduled c-section. So we hung out and chatted with all the nurses about painting and decorating bedrooms. Fourty-five minutes later, we were pushing. It took about 3-4 pushes and Brookie Lyn was born. She came on August 1, 2007 at 1:28 p.m. weighing in at 7 pounds 9 ounces and 21 inches long. Luckily for me, my mom flew in that day for a two week stay. It helped so much to have her here. It has been quite the adjustment to being a mother of three. Moments like these always make you grateful for your own parents! We are thrilled to have our latest addition to the family.
